RUMOR: on Untitled Superman Casting METALLO the VILLAIN In the Superman reboot? not Zod? thank GOD! Mangienello up for villain? and Brainiac?

got a scoop my source Hollywoodstalker and its a good one. hopefully it pans out! here it goes!
"One of my sources who I have been in contact with for some time provided me with an update to all the daily rumours flying around on every news site across the internet.




One of my sources that lives in LA provided me with this update to all the recent rumours surrounding the Superman project, helmed by Zack Snyder.


"Every name linked with the villain role so far is a Complete fabrication. I don't believe that they have even started thinking about casting the villain yet, which by the way IS NOT General Zod I just don't know where all these supposed "close sources" get their information unless they are deliberately sending out false information. From what I've heard, one of the villains is John Corben who is known as Metallo in the comics and that Zack Snyder's aim is to get Joe Manganiello to play him." all this is rather intruiging if true and a welcome change to the lackluster zod nonsense weve been hearing lately (seriously Put that character to bed wb) there are many rouges that superman has that have yet to be put to film give them a chance! and hollywood also goes on to say we just Might see brainiac after all? " wouldn't 100% say Joe Manganiello will play Metallo, it is just something he has heard about the project whilst working about Joe getting the villain role instead and that it is Metallo. Remember this is a realistic reboot. To be fair I have heard some pretty radical ideas from some supposed "people in the know".

One told me that "Brainiac, Lex Luthor and Metallo will be the villain. Brainiac dies, Lex tries to rebuild him but can't do it proporly and so creates Metallo" but I doubt it lol.

One thing I know to be true is that there are people who work for Warner Bros. who have permission to give out information to site, albiet false information and that Chris Nolan proposed/created this position when making The Dark Knight to deliberately put people off the story he was making and WB liked it alot". curioser and curioser !
