Superman to marry his Lois Henry Cavill Engaged to girlfriend Ellen Whitaker

Sorry, ladies and gents. This super man is taken!

Henry Cavill is now an engaged man. On a recent trip to Hollywood, Henry popped the question to his girlfriend, showjumper Ellen Whitaker, and she said YES!

Why wouldn't she!

In a statement, Ellen revealed how elated she was when Henry asked the big question. She said:


"I couldn't believe it when he asked me to marry him. I thought we were there to celebrate his birthday. It was such a surprise and I am so happy."

Good for you! We're happy for you!

Oh, but don't expect to hear wedding bells anytime soon. He's gearing up to shoot the new Superman flick and she's preparing for the 2012 Olympics. The romantic stuff might just have to wait until they each bring home gold!
