JUSTICE LEAGUE: CRISIS ON TWO EARTHS Coming Next

It's always interesting what you can find on the back of a DVD box. MTV Splash Page uncovered the title of the next DCU Animated feature on the back of the packaging for the upcoming 'Superman/Batman: Public Enemies'.

The box promotes a "sneak peak" at 'Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths'. Few other details are known, although we can presume it relates somehow to the original "Crisis" stories from the 1960s, which saw the Justice League meeting up with their classic counterparts the Justice Society. Back then, the teams existed in separate dimensions, which were first bridged in the two-issue crossover stories "Crisis on Earth-One!" and "Crisis on Earth-Two!".

DC has made use of the title "Crisis" at various points ever since, with perhaps the most noteworthy being "Crisis on Infinite Earths" which ushered in a the age of "event" crossovers in comics, and had far-reaching implications for storytelling in the DCU.

Reportedly Dwayne McDuffie, who wrote numerous episodes of the 'Justice League' animated shows, has written the script for the film.
